Privacy Policy

WhatsOnMyFlight (“we”, “us”) is an independent guide to in-flight entertainment, operated from Israel. This policy explains what information is processed when you use whatsonmyflight.com and what choices you have.

What we collect

You can use the site without an account and without giving us any personal information. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate audience measurement. With your permission, it also uses Google Analytics cookies. We do not run advertising scripts.

• Optional Google Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics measures page views, returning visits, engagement time, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google processes this information on our behalf; data may be processed outside your country. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization. Our page-view reports omit URL query strings and fragments, including catalog search text. Google Analytics cookies are configured to last up to one year and may be renewed when you visit. • Audience measurement. Vercel Web Analytics processes page views, referring websites, approximate location, and device and browser information to help us understand how the site is used. It uses a temporary identifier derived from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours, rather than cookies. We receive aggregate statistics. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This data is handled under Vercel’s own privacy policy and retention periods.
• Data kept in your browser. When you browse an airline catalog, the site saves your scroll position in your browser’s session storage so that the Back button returns you to the same place. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is cleared when you close the tab. We also save your analytics cookie choice in local storage for 180 days.
• Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your email address and message for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the request.

How we use it

To operate and secure the site, understand which pages visitors find useful, improve the guide, and answer messages. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your cookie choice

Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Accept analytics”. You can reject it and still use the whole site. To change your choice or withdraw consent, select “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics stops Google Analytics on this browser and removes its cookies for this site. Vercel’s cookie-free aggregate analytics remains active.

Future changes: advertising and additional analytics

We may later add advertising or additional analytics tools that use cookies. Before they go live we will update this policy to name the providers and the data involved, and, where the law requires it (for example for visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom), ask for your consent first.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its use. To make a request, email contact@whatsonmyflight.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

The site is a general-audience guide and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Links to other sites

Pages link to airline websites, Wikipedia and other third parties. Their privacy practices are their own.
